Default Speed pro-Hypereutectic aluminum pistons?

i got some 3.78 bore , speed pro - Hypereutectic aluminum , made by federal mogul... there made out of FM244 aluminum alloy.
- any-b running these pistons?
- how much nitrous can these take 150 , 175 , 200 . . ?
im going to run them with mahle rings-
- any know the CR on these?
any feedback on these pistons..

When I wanted to know how much nitrous my pistons could take I called the manufacturer. It took me about 20 mins. I also discussed ring gap with them as well since that limits how much nitrous you can run. As far as compression ratio just type compression calculator in google and a bunch of calculators will pop up. You will need to know your head gasket thickness, piston dish cc's, combustion chamber size, and how far in the hole your pistons are.

truthfully I wouldnt use them for more than a 100 and that doesnt look like dust

Don't take this the wrong way... But why did you ask if you had your mind set on spraying them hard anyway.

Sell them before the motor goes together and buy some nice forged slugs if you want to spray the car.

Those look like standard LS1 pistons to me, so I would say up to a 150 shot would be OK.

id rather run stock pistons than thoughs... we have hit SBE with 250 and they were fine.. we just dont no how long its gunna last so far so good though

150 is your safe point.. Those are not much better than stock.
