Default 408 N20 Fogger Question

Im putting yet another ls1 in something but have sort of a delima. This one is going in a Fox body Mustang. I have a Dart headed, solid roller 408 that I have carbed with a dist conversion and a fogger backed by a TH400 w/a brake and 3500 JW convertor. Part of me wants to just stay with it but another part of me is nagging inside to put the 347c.i. 5.3 iron block PT88 turbo motor in it so my question is this - How fast have folks been with the solid roller 408 combos carbed or efi? Im thinking I should be able to get an 8 second pass out of it with a 300-350 shot. Hell, I've run low 9's with a 23 degree Brodix headed motor, w/a dominator and a Big Shot set of 250 in a Mustang so I would think the carbed 408 with a fogger would get me there in the same type of car. Thanks in advance fellas.

Hey Big Geek how are ya?

Well the Fox body stangs are so easy to sling shot down the track I could easily see a 8 second slip out of it with a properly built and tuned 408.

I guess the question is how well is the bottom end made? I assume good forged nitrous ready parts?

As for carb or EFI it does not matter for horse power. They both make about the same power properly tuned. EFI has more tunability and driveability is all. If going carb concider pro systems. I was impressed with thier tech and how close the carb was pre tuned for Clarks E85 car.

Doing good. Waiting for some cooler weather. This hot weather does not inspire me to do anything.
