how do you know when you are out of nitrous BTW? will it hurt injecting nitrogen in to your motor?

I would guess that alot of it is just experience. You can always take the bottle out an weigh it... And pushing straight nitrogen through in stead of n2o is gonna be REAL bad on a big direct port setup because it'll be very similar to a running with no bottle at all.... All the fuel will be there, and no oxygen to match

In the event that the N2O ran out, the nitrogen will not hurt the engine. In fact, it would essentially kill the combustion...like a fire extinguisher. The key is of course to know when you are about out...as you should whenever you are running N2O.

I've been running this kind of settup in one form or another for over a year with no problems whatsoever. In fact, everything is holding together nicely to this point.
