This job pays 500 a week?!

I think I would like to add my name to the poll. I know I am not the most knowledgeable and have never really done anything with an ls motor and nitrous but I feel like I could add something to this board. If nothing else every now and then I could come on here and get Wayne and Steve stirred up. That would make it more interesting some times.

Noyzee,

smkn, your on the list, your in the poll, i put you on there because you do have a lot of knowledge and just like myself, you have been there, done that, got the t shirt. i remember when we where messing with the noszle system on the 346 and going back and forth and working it out, i know the time you spent on your car, again been there done that. the issue at hand isnt just how much you know its how often your on the site, how much time you have to put into moderating, how much your going to watch over the site. mods are not just on the answer questions and help, members do that with us. mods are here to spend a lot of time on the site and help clean up.

that said, thats why im looking for a little back up here, i know im not on as much anymore for some of the same reasons you are not, work, boating, family stuff etc etc. we need some one here with a little more time who is willing to help. and trust me, this poll is not going to be the only thing coming into play and we are looking at your past activity, as a lot of the older guys want to see you as a mod, but we are worried about the time you have to give to the site. if your not chosen please dont think that its because people dont think your smart or know your stuff, its because we know your around and willing to answer questions weather your a mod or not, and we need help moderating not just answering questions.
obama, is he the best man for his job? maybe, maybe not (imo, NO!!!!!) but people voted him in. there is the atleast a million people in America that are better suited for his job but they didnt get put into the mix for voting, atleast you got on the list. lol

sorry i know i shouldnt bring up politics, but i did. lol

please keep this on track, enough with pinky and the brain. shiz and atv are not on the poll and they know why. yes they are very smart and been there done that but they are not the best for a mod position nor do they want one. its a pain in the ***. lol
wait did i say that. guys in the poll pay no attention to my last remark. being a mod is great!!!

I'm 37 and a GM of a retail company. My experience: I have been doing drag racing since I was 16. In the last 14 years I have had an LT1 car that I have raced. I sold it and got a 98 Trans Am that I have had. I have ran nitrous the last 7 years - I have ran single nozzles, dual nozzles, and directports. I'm experienced in dedicated fuel cells, reading plugs, tuning, installations, helping with suspension and engine mods. I want to be here to help people reach their goals they have for their car and to educate people on nitrous.

Thanks for the vote. There are a ton of guys like us on here where we have just enough funds to go to the track and cant afford mis guided information given to you where you end up blowing your engine. If I save people on here from that misfortune then I did my job as a mod.

Completely agree with you there... Whoever ends up helping out here needs to try to keep this place a source of GOOD information for people of ANY skill level... Serving as a "gatekeeper" and keeping the bs to a minimum is super important here!

I saw that starting to blow off as soon as the OP posted that a question about that Proton kit... I completely agree that that thread exemplifies the type of crap we don't need here... Sponsors at each other's throats for one reason or another, misinformation, etc....

We're all here to learn and help each other out... Not listen to talk about you how you guys are going to set your price points (no offense to you Dave)
