I use it for the constant bottle pressures in the colder months without the use of a bottle warmer...

for me i love it during the cold months but the summer time is useless for me, literally. I daily drive my car and leave the bottle in the car so if the nano is hooked up the pressure is way too high due to the heat of the bottle already. nitrous bottles must be 80 degrees or lower for the nano to be in the correct operating temperature. You can ice the bottle down at the tracks and it works perfect but if you plan to use it on the fly, better hope its not 100 degrees out.

I like the performance edge it provides but hate the 40min drive to get it filled.

More or less, it's a pusher system that helps keep bottle pressure constant during a run. Bottle pressure often drops significantly during a full 1/4 mile pass, and the nano eliminates the drop in bottle pressure.

I got rid of mine because there was no where to fill it. I was a little pissed because Cartek led me to believe that you could fill it anywhere at any time. Thats the only reason I went nitrous in the first place instead of FI. Im glad I did it anyways despite the hard time with NANO. I personally wouldnt recommend it to anyone just because of the filling situation.

I have the NANO 3000. I get it filled up a mile from the house at a paintball place. I haven't run it at the track so I can't speak to its performance yet.

get A 3000PSI kit... alot more options are out there for filling it. it's kind of hard to find a place to fill a 4500 kit.

I tried the first two places recommended and they couldnt do it(3000 kit), found a scuba shop and first trip they wanted to inspect teh bottle(remove the valve) for 15 bucks and another 8 to fill it. Then another 8 every fill. If the prices of nitrous dont kill me that will. So im done with it till its winter and I dont spray much.

I am very sorry about this. Next time have them give us a call so we can give them the DOT certification. Usually it costs between $2-4 to have them filled.

If you have the money, get it for the elimination of heater hassle. yeah, when its warmer no big deal, but when it cools off a bit, BAM, pressure instantly. i hated my bottle heater days.

I haven't had any issues with getting my 4500 kit filled. I tried a local dive shop first, but they didn't have the right fittings. Local paintball store charges me $5 a fill. They always ask what it's for, though. I bought it for the constant pressure and it's benefits in the last 1/8.
