Default new to nitrous. what is this?

I just bought this kit off a guy from the forums. The wire comming out of this "thing" needed to be replaced. I started to mess with it and i pulled the wire completely out. Help me out and let me know if i need this part and where to get one. Thanks

I circled the part that the wire came out of.

Education is what keeps you from making a bad name for nitrous!!! Make sure you are VERY educated before you hit the button. For you to have bought a kit and not know a purge solenoid tells me you need more education before you blow up your motor.

Not trying to be a jerk, just trying to make sure in a week or two you don't post a pick of motor parts and ask why.

It's a purge solenoid. How much are you planning to spray on that? I see some things I don't like for a large shot.

purge solenoids dont have a power and ground per say. You can use either wire for either source. Just buy a new noid and you should be good to go.

You could also open the solenoid up and solder a new wire on.
