Default New to spray, just bought a kit, couple ?'s

Ok I just bought a used nitrous kit. It has a NOS bottle, NOS purge, nitrous works solenoids, and NX shark nozzle.

1. He said this kit was on a honda, and from what i've read, nitrous works solenoids kits for 4 cyl cars can't run too big of a shot. Does that have to do with the solenoids? Or can I run a 100 shot with these solenoids?

2. Should I jet according to NX jetting chart because the nozzle is NX?

3. Anyone else using nitrous works solenoids, can you tell me what do do with this wiring? the fuel solenoid has 2 red wires and nitrous has 2 blue wires. one of the red wires is spliced together with one of the blue wires into a fitting that comes out to a single black wire. I take it this is the ground for both solenoids? And then the remaining red and blue wires are twisted together but not spliced into a single wire. Are these the power wires for the solenoids?

Any kind of info anyone can give will be helpful. Can provide pics if needed.

the two wires are power and ground. doesnt matter witch one they will work either way. I dont know anything about the solenoids not being able to handle a different shot though. The jetting should be roughly the same from factory to factory. On company will tell you a 46 nitrous jet and the other will tell you a 53 you will end up ranging from 80-110 with the varying jet sizes.

Use NX jetting since you are using there nozzle. Odds are the solenoids you have will do a 100 shot. Wiring covered above..

I appreciate all the help guys! I ended up deciding to not spray the car for now, I know nitrous destroying a motor isn't always going to happen, but the car is my DD and I can't take the chance. So kit is for sale.

IMO You have to be a screw up to destroy a motor with nitrous. As long as you go with the safety features and make sure it is set up properly you can run a lot of nitrous. I know guys that have used it for years on a motor with no problems. But hey to each his own.
