Default mph GAIN with 150 shot

my GTO is gaining 12mph with 150shot... does this sound right?
mods in sig...
all motor is going 12.8 at 106.2mph

also how safe is it to run a 175-200shot with 8 degrees of timing being pulled?
im looking to get down the 11.4 range in the quarter..

I gained 11 on 150 shot, went from an 11.8 to a 10.60.

as far as timing goes, the best way is to learn how to read plugs, pull them after a WOT pass, read the strap for timing, cut the threads for fuel ring and adjust accordingly. Lot's of good reading on this board to help educate yourself on this subject.

10.00@133.9 N20 150 shot

So about 12 MPH. This was through a tight 8" converter.

What H/C did you have on that car? I think it was a Vindicator cam but could be wrong. Sorry for the hijack!!!!

I went from an 13.1 @ 106 to a 11.3 @ 117 with that shot (150) In my truck.

I'll say you need a better 60' I went 1.59 I believe. What are your 60's NA?

Vengeance 240/244 cam. Later the car went even quicker with a bigger converter both on motor and spray.

1.85 60ft all motor..
still on the stock tune... i think torque management is holding me back on the 60ft

This is exactly what I'm hoping for. My car is running 11.9 on motor now, and I'm going to spray with 150 or 175 this weekend after the new 9" is in.

Sounds like a 1 second Improvement I was hoping for is possible. I bought 175 jets in case..

Just put in a 9" and madman rear suspension and afco springs/shocks.


Did you spray out the 150 out of the hole?

Pretty much, a very slight delay but not on purpose. Come to find out I had my window switch set to high and itwasn't leaving off the converter like it should. After learning more about the setup the same 150 shot I sprayed back then would probably go a low 50 or so now.
