Default New PB 10.51 @130

Finally made it to the track after converter swap. Car ran well for the track conditions 120% humidity. Everything was wet. The only way to get it to hook was to roll it way out on motor and then spray it.The 150 NX kit hits hard for a small kit.

Nice work, how did you have a decent 60 and run that time in the 1/8th? I would fig with a time like that you would have been mid to low 7's in the 1/8th? Either way nice times.

That's way better. Just didn't know. Good job, and it sounds like you might have a lil more in her. Might be able to squeeze a high 20-30 pass outta it.

Working with the tire pressure trying to get it to hook. Do any of you run the Hoosier drag radial. It hooked better at 22 psi than it did at 15. I will try it again when the weather clears up. Maybe get it in to the .30's.

I will try and upload some photos of the setup. It's a single shark nozzle from NX 150 wet kit. With the nitrous tune the kit made 140hp to the tires. I upgraded the fuel system with the Racetronix 225 with the hot wire kit. They pulled 6 degrees of timing in the tune so I could jet it for the 175 or 200 at the most. I am trying to keep it safe for the stock bottom end. As far as being pulled off the track, I guess I just got lucky. I did wear a jacket, gloves and a helmet, they never looked inside of the car at the ticket booth. I have the Wolfe Racecraft 6pt weld in cage, just wanted to see what the car could do. I plan on doing the cage install over the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays.

6 degrees wont be enough for a 200...175 would be iffy

I am new to the Ls1 scene, but for our carb motors we always pulled 3 per 100, so I figured 6 per 200. What do you guys pull for a 200. I am running the ngk tr6 plugs. At wot the air fuel was at 12.6 to 1. Right now the kit comes on at 3k, shuts off at 6400, and the trans shifts at 6500.

Id check with some of the tuners on here and shops or other racers that have a lot of experience.

I would switch the plug to a ngk br8ef! On a 200 hit I would pull 8-10 degrees to start... then pull a plug and verify the tune. The tr6 plug w/ a 200 shot is a disaster in the making!!
