Default which cyl is most important when reading plugs

Instead of changing all 8 of them and spending most of the night changing plugs trying to get it tuned. Is their 1 or 2 cylinders I can take my readings from to get it dialed in. And then maybe do one more pass and pull all of them. I have a plate spraying 100 and a direct port spraying 200

No... Especially not with 300 horse worth of gas.

You need to take your time, get the first kit dialed in, then add the second.

I wouldn't be taking chances during the initial setup. Once you get everything under control, you'll know which plugs you generally need to watch and can focus on those, but during inital tuning you should pull them all.

A bunch.... The first kit shouldn't be that hard to get nailed down, but the second kit will need some work.

Basically, take a set for however many passes you'll make (at least for your first time getting things set up).

The number of plugs you go through will decline greatly as you get a handle on the tune up.

The fogger is easy to tune, the plate on top of the fogger will be a bit of a trick. You will see that the plate could be tuned by itself and the fogger tuned by itself and then when they are both sprayed together the mixture gets mixed up and can be inconsistent, this is why most peopl do 2 foggers or progressive. When I had my s10 and sprayed 250 through the fogger I usually brought 4 sets of plugs to the track with me. I pulled the plugs after every pass, all 8 of them. You dont want to risk it. When you spray the bigger shot you have to be very cautious and adjust to the weather constantly. Good luck and hope it goes well.

That's what I was trying to get at. One plate or one fogger is simple...

Add the two on top of one another and things can get sorta strange.

Mushroom281-

More important than anything else, not trying to be rude at all, is to change the mentality right now. Pulling EVERY plug EVERY pass until that thing is spot on with both stages is the best thing you can do for your car right now. Do not go into this process looking for corners to cut. Good parts are only half, you must have that tune correct.

There are many resources at your disposal. I would take advantage of that and make you do your part. The car will fly if you do. Myself, Dave, Camscam, and many other guys are happy to give you a hand.

Once you learn what plugs to pull and have info on your combo you can start pulling the ones you need but right now it needs to be all 8 until you get it dialed.

All 8 are important, esp at first.
