Yeah I mean give it a shot it's worth trying.. but I think you'd be substantially better served with a converter from leny, or call Greg @ FTI.. an 8 inch with the anti balloning plates and whatnot that stalls around the 4200 to 4400 mark, that's set up for nitrous use I think would work prety good for what you want to do.
Lenny does alot of 9 inch stuff, I think he would probably put you something similar together to what Greg would, but just in a 9 inch case. Only way is to give him a call...
Best thing to do, would be to bring either one of them a total build sheet on the car, weight and all, and send some time slips once you get the car to the track a few times, then they can see what the car's doing with what you have now... maybe they could even restall/rework the one you have...

exactly what im gonna do. i'd like to see if maybe yank would restall the converter i have now to save a little $$
