put down 427/374 on a mustang dyno through the th400/4500 stall. and 503/452 on a 100 hit, but it was blowing through the converter

That's what I figured would happen with that converter... give Lenny a call, get one in the car that stalls about 4200that is built for nitrous, and you will see single digit passes this year.

Yeah I mean give it a shot it's worth trying.. but I think you'd be substantially better served with a converter from leny, or call Greg @ FTI.. an 8 inch with the anti balloning plates and whatnot that stalls around the 4200 to 4400 mark, that's set up for nitrous use I think would work prety good for what you want to do.

Lenny does alot of 9 inch stuff, I think he would probably put you something similar together to what Greg would, but just in a 9 inch case. Only way is to give him a call...

Best thing to do, would be to bring either one of them a total build sheet on the car, weight and all, and send some time slips once you get the car to the track a few times, then they can see what the car's doing with what you have now... maybe they could even restall/rework the one you have...

You could do that... or just send it to Lenny and he can rework it. He'll rework anything.

He'll rework anything, he's done other brands for us before. Give him a call... it will be the best thing you can do. He's in South Carolina now I think.. used to be right here in CT, he recently moved. But, I'd still use Lenny in a NY minute.

Why? You were so close to that 9 second slip! Or did you manage to get it already?

Sorry to hear that. You would be amazed how many people end up coming back. Ofcourse a little Boost with a nice shot works well too.

the main reason is that i always need a project or else i start to get bored with the car, i'd rather be working on it than driving it lol. btw the complete kit sold almost instantly--that in its self says something for nitro dave's products.

Hell if you wanted a project, ya should have bought a tubing bender, jug notcher, tig welder and built yourself a 8.50 cert cage for the car....

That would be a project. And, a useful one!
