Is your current motor built for boost? If not keep the spray!

It is completely forged, and I would only go very small on the boost with an STS setup which is C.A.R.B. legal. Even with my 384, if I put a set of stock 317 heads on it I could get down to a hair under 10:1 CR. That isn't going to support a ton of boost, but it will knock me up a bit.

Also, I do apologize for the delay on the PMs for the parts. My parents are elderly (my is 77 and my mother is 58, but she has 11 bad discs in her neck and back, diabetes, and her liver is beginning to fail which makes her effectively older than my dad) and I spent much of this weekend helping them with house work. I will try to get the parts pulled today and the PMs and pics sent tonight. Thanks for your patience.
-John

My advice is to avoid a state that requires you to demod your car.

CA blows.

My advice, stop giving that advice. I can't wait to get to California. I'll take it 100 to 1 over Tennessee and so it would seem would many millions of other people. If it costs me 20-30 horsepower, I'll take it. Can we keep the thread on topic? Thanks.

Technically, I live in MS....But I'd pick TN over CA as well, so you can roll with that.

That doesn't tell me it's a better state...It just tells me there are millions of people who don't know any better

At any rate, enjoy slowing your car down.

I'm at a Density Altitude that stays consistently above 7000' in the summer and sees 10,000' regularly. Trust me, the car won't be slower. Now please, why you posted in here in the first place puzzles me. Your lack of understanding of the reality of coming federal emissions standards will bite you in less than 5 years. 13 states have adopted California emissions standards already, and the remaining 36 will be required to follow suit by 2016. Start getting yourself ready. You may not be moving to California, but California is coming to you.
