Default Any dry fogger guys??

Anyone here run a dry fogger setup? How do you like it? How do you control your fueling? Looking to try my hand at it this year and was just seeing who else is doin it.

I'll be using a factory pcm and trying the IAT trick to make it work.

To be honest, I don't think it is possible with a factory computer. Even most of the standalones don't have their dry stuff out just yet.

Its very possible. Already have the tune worked out.

What would you think the issue would be?

Harris Speedworks makes an interface that allows guys that still use a MAF to run dry systems with their nozzles or plates after the maf.

The ever popular IAT trick will allow me to do basically the same thing

Didn't know that, that would be a pretty trick setup! Does it just use fuel percentage, and have a calculation for actual projected jet size?

Not my tune but...

After the computer is "tricked" into thinking it's seeing 194* inlet temps I can control the timing kind of like an msd 7531, ramping it in if need be

Then this table will allow to adjust the fueling

Pretty friggin sweet if you ask me. That class we went to the other day really got the wheels turnin lol

Unfortunately, I don't know. I've not been real impressed with HSW's customer service and haven't got a real straight forward answer on it. I've done some searching around and didn't come up with any real definitive answer. So, I'll spend my $200 elsewhere

Here's a link to the product.

Yah, that is a very cool setup. Just did some reading on HSW site, seems like a really nice setup. let us know how it works out. Looks like it is adjustable by "shot size". Hopefully someone will post up who has used it.

I definitely learned some useful info from the class and can't wait to get to put it to the test!

I'd PM Robert56 (I believe that's right) runs quite a big dry shot using the stock ECM and EFILIVE to tune it with. Worth a shot to pick his brain.

You use the stock pcm and efi live to add fuel and pull time without doing any "hacks". EFI Live has a Custom OS that has nitrous timing and fuel tables in the tune.

Not that it's a big deal, but the custom os only works up to 2005. Saying that, all I have to do to my truck is swap in an 05 gas pedal and TAC module and voila...

My bad didn't see that you had an 07, so yeah the nitrous OS that I was talking about wouldn't apply.

It can, and probably will. The parts that would allow me to convert to an older OS are only around $100
