Best FBody Headers for Plug Access (inspection on juice)?

Default Best FBody Headers for Plug Access (inspection on juice)?

I am posting this in the Nitrous section...because generally speaking, its the spray guys that check there plugs the most often...

I am curious what the heavy nitrous users have found in the department of header selection that offer the easiest spark plug access for inspection between races?

I know this is a loaded question, and on these cars you are pretty much screwed no matter what, but what have you guys found as a decent header that offers good access?

I plan on using my nitrous a LOT this season, and any tricks to make life a little easier would be greatly appreciated!

They are all easy, you wont see a drastic difference in any of the brands

From my experience, coil relocation, accessory deletes, etc....are more productive than different headers. Those back plugs are going to be a PITA pretty much any way you go.

Most people aren't into ( Coil Relocation ) cause they don't want to run longer spark wire and lose power ( As what they said ) .. in this case, it will take only one bolt to remove the coil bracket, then do your work with sparks. Finally, tighten that stupid bracket bolt

It's like everyone has been saying they are all pretty much the same. I know I have bananna hands and I can take all my plugs off (with the exception of the passenger rear) from standing a I've the motor. That passenger rear one is simple though. Cause with the long tube u have the room to reach right up and access that lash plug from underneath.

Take out the heater box, it's really easy to get the passenger rear then.

Seriously if you haven't done EGR and AIR delete, do those now! It's a night and day difference. That plus edelbrock headers made my spark plug change go from an all day job to a 15 minute job. I'm sure "most" brand name headers will have plenty of clearance to get to the plugs.

That and manual brakes helps on the other side.

I can change all 8 in 10 mins once its cooled off.

Manual, Brakes, Coil relocation and No AC FTW! lol

As far as headers I have noticed a big difference in plug reach with any of them on the LS1.
