wet 150 shot on a stock fuel pump? hey guys, i've been thinking about spraying my ws6 lately but i was wondering if my stock fuel pump would do the job for a wet 150 shot? my mods are just bolt-ons LMK

Yeah I would think that is pushing the limits. My stock fuel pump maxes out at a 75 shot, wet off the stock rails ('01 Z06). I plan to put in a Walbro 255lph pump, hotwire kit, and convert it to a '97-'98 Corvette return-style system. Then I will try a 100 shot, 125, MAYBE a 150.

I've run plenty on a 150 wet shot with no problem, so havew many others. It depends on what yo have done, if its a bolt on car, have at it. If your running a big cam, probly not the best idea

With bolt ons youll be fine, but a Racetronix kit isn't that expensive and if you keep modding you'll need it anyways. So if you've got the cash, go for it. If you don't feel safe doing it, back the shot down

There is absolutly zero link between injectors n wet kit BTW. You could run a 500 wet shot with stock injectors. Only dry kits needs upgraded injectors.
I would never try a 150shot on a stock fuel pump, its asking for a disaster; lean+N2O=BOOM

I run TR6 here with H/C/I+150 wet shot..no problem since 2 years. Racetronix kit with hotwire too here. Its good for around 600-650rwhp they say..stock its around 450-500BHP usually.
FYI, when I first installed my wet kit, I used the 75 jet n I was still on the stock pump, n the FPSS was cutting the N2O at around 4500rpm cause it was too lean!! So, you can do the math; I was at around 400rwhp N/A and the stock fuel pump could not even handle a 75 shot! If I didnt have a FPSS, my engine would be dead now!

I too have been wondering about the stock pump limits. I am at 502 rwhp on a dry 100 shot. I did however upgrade my injectors they are 36lb FAST injectors. @ 6500rpm they are running a 65% duty cycle and it is at 11.6 afr from 3100-6500rpms. I don't feel like I need a pump but when I get the $ I will be adding one for insurance.

Just upgrade the pump. AND #7 NGK NON PROJ. PLUG
Ok the question you are asking really depends on how old your pump is. I have seen people use 100 shot up to a 250 shot on a stock pump. I have have also seen a guy use a 100 shot on a dyno and the car fell off hard on spray because the pump could not keep up. Long story short install a fuel pump. There are plenty of writes how to do it on here.
