300 Shot, o-ring block or not?

Default 300 Shot, o-ring block or not?

Looking for input from guys running 300+ shot on LT-1. The short block is at the machine shop now getting rebalanced for n2o piston change. The builder suggested o-ring the block. Car is 90% strip, 10% street. Thanks in advance!

What about the Fel-pro's? Mighytymouse says he uses them with good success as you can see running 8.70's. Alot of boost and cylinder pressure and they hold it all together.

o-ring ends up in fail most of the time. lots of guys trashed good stuff messing with it. commetics, true block and heads and good install procedures and of corse the correct tune is the way.
