Why no relay required for purge noid?
None of the purge kits I've seen come with relays. Often times, the noid used is very similar to, if not the same as the N2O noid as is the case with the NOS version. It's the same with the NOS remote opener, which is nothing more than a noid. No relay there either.
Why do these not require relays and the actual N2O (and fuel) noid's do?
Also, is the relay actually necessary? All it's doing is keeping the high draw circuit required for to activate the noids seperate from the low draw of the microswitches and toggle switches right? If all the switches were rated high enough it negates the need right? As long as you have a fuse.
Thoughts?

I use one, but the noid is only open for short bursts. The solenoid for nitrous needs one because it draws a huge amount of current (in automotive standards) to keep the valve open under 1000+psi. Having that on a relay will protect the rest of your wiring, switches and electronics that you otherwise would have tied that to.
