My best guess is 325-350whp, 5.3 with 243 heads, LS6 intake, headers and a 216/220 baby cam.

with potential for 500 rwhp your pump may or may not be up to the task and i certainly wouldnt trust it without a wideband to keep an eye on things. that and reading plugs.

A nitrous filter is probably a good idea, blow down tube to meet track regulations, walboro 255 pump and i second the wideband idea.

Nitrous filter
Controller that pulls timing
Fuel pump (is Walbro the only pump recommended)?
Wideband (this is what I was planning to use) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bluet...motiveQ5fTools

Thanks.........

Anything else?

Default Controller description

Mini 2-Stage Progressive Nitrous Controller.

Nitrous Oxide Systems is proud to announce their new Mini 2 Stage Progressive Nitrous controller. Featuring two completely independent stages of Nitrous control, each with its own throttle position activation switch and progressive ramps. It allows you to get the most out of your Nitrous system and put more power to the ground when traction is at its best. RPM on/off control eliminates the need for a window switch and allows you to turn the Nitrous off and on at set points. It also features two programmable outputs, so you can control timing retard or other devices. With the hand held programmer, it makes programming quick and simple and allows you to mount the main box out of site.

Features

2 fully independent nitrous controllers in one small bulletproof case
Hand held programmer for ease in programming
Allows you to mount the main box out of sight
Integrated throttle position activation switch eliminates the need for a separate WOT switch
Progressive nitrous ramps feature:
a) Delay time programmable from 0 to 9.9 sec.
b) Start percentage programmable from 0 to 99%
c) Ramp time programmable from 0 to 9.9 sec
d) End percentage programmable from 0 to 99%,
e)Nitrous can be programmed to ramp up or down
RPM on/off control eliminates the need for a separate window switch
Solenoid control channels with a 40 amp load capacity for large solenoids
Two output signals for use with timing retards or activation switches

What system would you recommend to pull timing? I looked up systems and what I could find was.......

http://www.jandssafeguard.com/8ChInt...terceptor.html

Really expensive though! Is there something else that is more cost effective?

This will be a street car, track use will be near zero and the system will only be used a few time per year.

All these Guru's and (other than the 3 responses) no one knows or is willing to throw in an opinion. I am really needing some help here. I don't want to waste money on buying something I don't need or not buying something that damages my investment.

If you are looking for the cheapest, will never be there. Even if we offered the exact same products we would not be the cheapest. We spend a lot of time here helping people and when people call in with tech problems. Even just the time we spend to properly give recommendations on systems takes much more time.

Here is our Brand X total package. It is a complete, safe, and reliable system with all the tech support and trouble shooting you can ask for.

The only thing it is lacking is the remote bottle opener. If you are going to order through NOS I do recommend you get the opener similar to ours rather than the solenoid style.
