Default Anybody like hi pressure better

I swear the 150 shot felt better at 55 psi fuel from the standalone than at 10 psi. Same timing almost the same air fuel on the wideband.

Anybody else like high pressure better?

What fuel were you running in each?

Have you read the plugs?

What timing on each fuel pressure setting?

.

I know my stuff is a totally different world, but I am a relatively high pressure guy in my cars.
The way I was taught was would you rather have the tune up change a small % or a huge % if the pump or regulator malfunctions??
Example, if the fuel changes 1 psi at 10 psi you are down 10%.
If the fuel changes 1 psi at 55 psi, you are down ~1%, to be exact 1.8%.
My ratio is the same, because the fuel side has been set up for the higher pressure.

Not sure if it's the same with these set up's, but the proper ratio is all that matters,
no matter how it was achieved!!

I have high pressure now and it works fine. Most likely going to order 400 pills and make them low pressure.

Sorry for the delay, I have been working too much.

Timming I pulled 8 just to be safe on a 150 shot so 18 * With both the 10 psi and the 55 psi pulls

C-16 in the standalone and 92 in the tank.

Read plugs? I drive a 4th gen F body! Have you seen the shock towers? My 2 year old can't even get his hands in there! LOL

Just kidding but no I have been lazy. I will pull them tomorrow when I test the 200 shot. I will pull 10 * for the 200 shot. (I still haven't decided to do a hi pressure run or a low pressure run)

Will I get a better reading if I kill the motor as soon as I let of the pass? Or is it ok to idle until I get pulled over and off the track?

For that matter could I drive all the way back to the pits or should I just pull over as soon as I take the exit off the track and pull them all right there?

For the plugs u want as little run time *** possible. Burn out . Run a pass and kill the motor as soon as ur done and coast. I see guys pulling there cars with little three wheelers or trucks to the parking lot

Are you runner a fuel bleeder? Did you flow you system at 10psi and set with a flow gauge?

No I didn't flow anthing.

I just have a gauge on the standalone tank regulator.

The standalone returns to tank ofcoarse.

I would flow it with a fuel flow gauge and see what psi you really have. You can't go by the cheap small gauges. You could easily be a couple psi off on fuel pressure and on low pressure that is a big deal.

That's what I was getting at.

You really should not see any real difference in a single fuel jet setup between high and low pressure. Both dialed in will make the same power.

I like higher pressure a little better on a single jet tuneup since it is a little more forgiving on fuel pressure variances. Also being high pressure usually helps people slow down and not make sure huge jumps in the tuneup.
