sept 10 I believe. Hopefully have the heads on there by Then. Then going to race a 255/50/15 street tire 1/4 mile class for 2 events. Now that is fun on a true street tire.

we've doing it for a long time, I'm pretty sure that's where he got the courage to try it.

We've already got bigger jets. Already tried them too Bit too much $$$ for us to come to Indy. It would be a blast though.

Hey guys thanks for the compliments!

If you go back and read almost EVERY time I post up a new thread it has thanks to Cam in it. He has been a huge help to me over the past few years on tuning my car. There are only a handful of people that I listen to and he is one of them.

As far as the 9.52 goes, that is my next goal because as far as ls1tech goes Cam has the Stock Shortblock with Stock Heads record. That is my next goal for now. If and or when I reach that goal it will then be time for heads, intake, nitrous spec cam and hopefully bottom 9s on my good old Stock Bottom End.

FYI - this motor will not be retired, it will be blown.... If that means the next hit on 300 or 450 it will not be put out to pasture. it will go down swinging

Thanks Ragan, can't wait for you and Pewter53 to get back to the track. I'm ready to see bottom 10s out of him and high 9s out of you. Let's do this man

Thanks man, running c-16 fuel. Most would say that i am over doing it with the fuel but to me it's just one more safety precaution. For each his own I guess

Are you mixing c-16 with 93? Or are you just running strait c-16?

That doesn't screw up your o2 sensors? I ran a 50/50 mix with 93 and 110 and it messed up one of my o2 sensors and I had to replace it, although I didnt have nitrous at that time. I'll tell you what, that c-16 is expensive as **** though!

Yeah, it's not good on the old o2s no doubt. I think I have to pay like 12 bucks a gallon at the track.

150 shot? Heck I crank my car up with a 150 shot each morning JK....

Thanks man! These motors love the spray, keep reading and researching, it will take a whole lot more than what people say.

its nice to read about somebody that has taken these cars to a certain level and what can be done with a lot of tuning, wrenching and sweat on pretty much a stock motor. Just seeing this car has changed my goals, heck instead of spending thousands on heads and intake, I'm just going to spend a few dollars on bigger pills lol.

Thanks man, I have had allot of good mentors along the way. I'm not sure if anyone has found the true limit of these motors yet with proper tuning. I have a feeling one of our moderators will be posting up some good times this weekend that will make it even harder to reach the stock head, stock bottom end record. However that's what makes the chase fun is competition
