Default Went a little faster, now think high 60s are possible...

Sup guys, just wanted to post up some results from last night and a few learning lessons to maybe help others. Car tipped the scales with me in at 3390 with about 4 gallons of gas. For those that don't know I drive this car to and from the track, swap tires and race.

Previous best (88 jet or 250 shot)

1.35 60ft
6.30 1/8
107 mph
9.97 1/4
133.26 mph

DA -600ish
49 degrees
30.19 Barometric Pressure
30 % Relative Humidity

Last Night (all passes on 93 jet or 300 shot)

#1 Soft tune-up, new combo, needed data
1.41 60ft
6.38 1/8 mile
108.43 mph
10.01 1/4
135.36 mph
Pass at 14.5 degrees

#2 Put 1.5 in her, Sat on the converter too long and spewed some fluid
1.42 60ft
6.33 1/8
109.21 mph
9.93 1/4 (new best however)
135.88 mph
Pass at 16 degrees

#3 Plugs looked over timed so I pulled a half degree
1.40 60ft
6.25 1/8
109.98 mph
9.84 1/4 (new Personal Best)
136.73 mph

DA +1700 to 1800
77 degrees
29.93 Barometric Pressure
79 % Relative Humidity

Overall I was excited about the new PB but things were not as smooth as i would have liked. I haven't been to the track since January and I was rusty! With the data i got last night, I truly think a high 9.60 is very possible in some good january Weather and maybe a little more weight loss (car and driver )Thanks again, Wayne, Dave, Graham, Cam, Bret and many others for sound advice!

Few pics
16.0 degrees, 300 shot, overtimed

14.5 degrees, 300 shot, little rich

Awesome! Guess that answers my question about - How much nitrous will a stock head flow? lol Guess there are a lot of myths out there.
This gives me hope on getting my cam only TBSS running in the 10's.

Thanks guys, not sure what the deal is with my 60ft. Last time out in Jan in the killer weather I ran 1.34, 1.35, 1.35, 1.35. It was crazy consistent, maybe just due to the hotter temps, hotter tranny fluid and not so good prep.

Thanks for everyone's help!

I miss my stock cube motor. This dang stroker hasn't been nothing but a head ache. Awesome runs. Burnout with the door open...I might have to try that one.

LOL.... Man my mirror on the driver side broke a few years back and I epoxy'd it so it won't move. Had to see what was going on back there With so little timing in the tune it's hard to do a good burnout sometimes....

I always open my door to see where I am in the water box. You could always do a good neutral drop to get the tires going J/K.

You keep this up and I am going to have to put a bigger jet in just to see what happens! Am I reading correctly and you have jumped right pass the 275 shot and went on to a 300 shot? If that is so that is just crazy!

Congrats on the new best!!!!

A .093 jet? That's more like a 330 shot!

Regardless, your car's flying. I'd love to see what it'll do if you put some heads on it.
