Great runs man keep pushing it. I will have my stock camaro done and be up there with you hoping before the year is over.
What tires are you runing in the back? and air pressure. That pass seems like the track wasnt prepped or letting go as the night went on.

Thanks man! Tires are MT Slicks, 28x10.5x15s (stiff wall), 13 psi. Track was not set on kill by no means that night. I kind of wander am I reaching the limits of my converter at this point. I drove back home and changed the filter and fluid because I over heated it once that night. Hopefully some of the converter issue was just old fluid. I have heard that if the fluid gets to hot it will cause the converter to stall higher due to the thinner fluid, not sure tho....

Yeah I didnt buy into the whole drag radial thing, and still not 100% sold on them. But I have been running on hoosier 28x10.5's and my best 60' to date is on my M/T drag radials. I am going to adjust some of my suspension to see if that helps any. But after my slicks are done I'm def going back to a radial!

Try the Hoosier radial and Ryan at RPM knows how to make them hook.
All things being equal the radial is faster. Without a doubt.

Congrats Carter!!!!!!!!! How much of your success do you contribute to your Nitrous Outlet system? I have not had a chance to get back to the track with my plugs changed and make some short hits to see how it will react with the bigger shot but soon enough! Maybe I will be able to make a new PB post soon!! Good luck and please keep the info flowing with your progress and success there are many of us that still need some good info and you guys obviously seem to have a little good info!!

Have you found with the mark there and pulling 1-2 more *'s it just runs quicker. I've never tried the timing that low.
By the way I'm running a mixture of C16 and MS109.

I'm assuming you are talking about their 2stage plate. Got one on my car and just tuned it in pretty close yesterday. Feels much better than the Nos plate and fogger nozzle I just removed. I have a 63 n2o jet on each stage, 33 fuel jet (@58psi) on the first and a 35 fuel jet on the second stage. Second stage is delayed 1.5 seconds. My plugs (#8's) looks like yours in the first pic you posted. I'm running 18* timing and thinking I could use 1* more timing based on the strap timing mark (1/4 mile run).

Dual stage? It will dance to the tune of 800hp.

Rule of thumb is "not to chase a certain position on the strap". Simply tune to what the motor is telling you. MPH is a reflection of power so if your car runs a 9.50 at 140 with a timing mark at the tip of the strap then you add two degrees and you run a 9.48 at 140 with a timing mark close to the bend then pull those two back out and lock it down for the day. If the same car then runs a 9.40 at 143 with the added two degrees and the mark is in the middle then you went in the right direction. If the same car with the added two degrees slows down then you went backwards. Make sense?

No I'm talking single stage plate. Not sure if I'm going to hit it with 400 just yet but we shall see this winter.
