Looks badass. Why did you switch from the bullhorns out the front to the ind runners out behind the wheel? Did the bullhorns give you too much downforce?

^ I'd be interested to know as well. I'm by far not even close to an expert, but it seems with varying the angles you could find a sweet spot.

Are most "heavy hitters" still in the 400-440 cid range? Just wondering why no one is going out with one of those ERL 500 cid packages. Not worth the extra cost for the shortblock? Other disadvantages?

Because we use what is PROVEN, RELIABLE, and what WORKS

None of us have cheap money in our shortblocks, but we build what it needs to handle the abuse we throw at it. I'm probably one of the few who uses aluminum rods in my combo though

If I followed the 4 rounds of qualifying correctly, I believe Smith is #2 qualifier @ the Y/B Nationals with a 4.94 @ 143

was a good looking pass. they kept playing a slow motion replay since the guy in the other lane went on the bumper and came down hard.

was everything alright with the car? at the 660' it looked like a little explosion out of the hood in the replay

Justin was having some MSD issues over the weekend.

LOL That's exactly how I felt sitting in the trailer after that round. Lesson learned and that should never happen again.

I will be testing next friday night at mir for the ultimate outlaws race to see if I have this problem fixed or not. When will yall be there?
