I just talked to NGK tech. The number ATV listed is a projected tip plug.
The number 9 is the coldest non projected tip plug NGK offers for a tappered seat head.
Brisk offers a step colder than the number 9 NGK. Its a part number G08S and its 10.99 a plug.

I'll stick with the 9 I guess. Dave, it's a 13:1 motor. 500 hp to the wheels through a turbo 350. I'm wanting to het it to work with a 300 shot through one of your plates on a 90/90 intake. You think the 9 is cold enough?

Roger, You are currently doing a 250 correct? How is the coloring on the strap looking? With the compression you are at a 10 plug would be a good start but IM thinking a 9 will be fine.
Run some C-16 or NOS fuel, Be concervative on the timing. Watch the plugs close.

#9 should be OK on a 300 shot just start with the timing low and creep up on it.
