Default Need help with going to a Nitrous plate...

Im new to nitrous and my current system is fairly basic to say the least...

Right now I have a wet NX kit that is a Nozzle setup. The nozzle is in a fernco intake bellow..(laugh it up) Believe it or not it works halfway decent. I dont use the system that much, hence for this setup.

Anyways I was looking to go to a plate system to have better flow and looks and was looking for some advice.

Will this plate work with what I have going right now?

How much are you spraying? You say you are looking for better flow, however the plate you are looking at only has a single nozzle discharge and its mounted up close to the front runners. Also that plate will only flow the same amount as the nx shark nozzle. I do agree it would look better though.

Take a minute and look at the Nitrous Outlet plate comversion. Then do a search here on the forum to see the great results others are having with it. There is not another plate available on the market that can compare to ours.

I have run my single nozzle setup on a 150 shot in my "Fernco" all summer, I read the plugs and the distribution is fine.

I am going to bump to a 175 then a 200 and keep watching the plugs, If the distribution is correct I dont think a plate gives any advantage except for looks

Thanks for the advice Dave and Tittan... I plan to only run 100-125 shot, but you know nitrous, next thing you know your sprayin' 175+ haha

I will keep researching the subject. Thanks guys.

Does this work with other nitrous kits? I bought my car and it has HSW kit on it, but I dont like it and was looking at starting to switch over to your stuff.

You need to do a little more research buddy. I can assure you a 150 shot in a Nitrous Outlet plate will produce a better ET than a 150 in a nozzle. The distribution is always going to be better from a plate being behind the TB and a plate has more than one exit point unlike a nozzle.

Also, most nozzles don't flow too well above a 150 but try it out and let us know.

night and day difference on how my NOS nozzle hits and the new Nitrous outlet plate does. 5-7 mph on 125 shot nos, and 100 shot Nitrous Outlet I picked up 10-11 mph

i will also agree, that going from a nozzle to a N20 outlet plate, it seemed to run noticably better on anything above 100 shot.

I love reading these results. We try to make sure we are careful to what we claim. So usually we are on the conservative side of things. I see company's make false claims or exaggerated claims all the time and it gets under my skin. I want to make sure we are not like those companies. But there is no arguing real world results coming from you guys!

You guys rock!

Not a problem Dave. I had your 2 stage nozzle setup in my car and it worked flawlessly but I didn't like the way I had to route the hoses so I ordered your 2 stage plate conversion just to clean up the engine bay, not to increase performance, but it did. I ended up picking up a tenth and a half in the quarter. You could even hear the difference when I would test the two stages at the line. The nozzle would hit real good but the plate made it a whole lot more snappier when I purged it into the engine.
