Nitrous Gauges Question
The gauge port on most bottles are NOT after the valve, so if you remove it you would need specialty fitting to do what you want.
I tap into the line for my dash gauge.
.
so you bascially get a y fitting of some sort and then get a long hose take it to the front and buy a 2nd gauge to mount in the front as well as leave the gauge thats already on the bottle.
Exactly.
On my bottles is a gauge that stays and I use for warming in the trailer.
At the line adapter is a port that some use for a dash gauge or computer, I use it for my computer.
At the firewall bulkhead fitting, I have a T-fitting, and tie in my gauge there.
That way I can never forget to turn on bottle, because the gauge is at zero, until I throw the 1/4 valve.
I would definitely never remove the bottle gauge, I would add an adapter.
You really need to know the pressure at all times, especially in the heat of summer!!
Good luck.

Just don't start an engine that had pressure on the noid.
They had a thread on another forum with engines that blew up when N2O leaked in to them.
That's why I always use a safety valve now, I learned my lesson after seeing those cars burn to the ground!!!

I'm liking the idea of electric gauge??
I've never trusted elect gauges before, but this is 2011, maybe it's time to reconsider.
It would be much safer, and I would have less fittings & lines running all over the place??
