do AN fittings need tread tape?
not hard. teflon PASTE on NPT joints, NOTHING on A/N joints.
post #7 shows an NTP to A/N adapter. the top gets nothing, the bottom would get the paste.
FWIW, teflon sealant and threadlocker are different items that work in different ways and meant for different tasks. the name, i think, gives that difference away.
