All A4 guys with N02 get in here
How do you drive your car down the track with nitrous, just need to know before i go to the track.
Also when you open the bottle for a quick street race and you dont get to spray, does the nitrous stay in the lines? and is that bad for it to stay in the lines for a long time?
Don't race but about 1-2 times a month, is it ok for the bottle to have nitrous in it for long periods of time?
I have a Air/Fuel gurage waiting to be installed, is it good on showing when you begin to run lean?
Any replies would be greatly appreciated

I always hit the single stage out of the whole, and followed up with the second stage in the first few feet after the car was rolling. I always had the bottle open for street racing. If I didn't use it I killed hte car, took the lid off and purged the nos out of the lines; so that is would not fill the intake or anything with nos.

I spray as soon as i feel that the car won't spin the tires when it kicks in, i usually hit at 60', but i do purge the lines when i'm done, because the nitrous will freeze your lines if you leave it in there, the easiest way to purge is with the engine not running but the battery is on, with the bottle closed push in the accelerator all the way in and you should the nitrous being purged out of the lines.

I spray a 75 shot right out of the hole, with my ST3500 I really have to heat the ET Streets up, but it launches like mad, scared me the first time I launched it with that combo it launched that hard/fast.

with my tnt kit, i had a window switch and fpss switch as well as the wot switch. had a 3200 vigilante convertor and the window was set from 3000 to 6000 and shifted at 6200. right now i have it set up for just WOT, no window switch so i will be spraying through the shifts. good luck!

I spray right out of the hole. Traction is the big issue. But just be aware, if you got a "stock" tranny, its not going to hold up to alot of the abuse. Trust me, I know <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> .

I let my car come out at 3000 rpm, nail the throttle, wait about 10 feet and hit the button. I hold the button all the way down the track, through the shifts and all.
