What is AGOSTINO doing to their heads???
...... to make them stay put under lots of boost?
I have heard ARE is doing something to keep the heads from lifting with ~14-15psi of boost on ls1's, what's the deal?

Is that all? Someone said they were doing something new, because high boost and ls1's have not mixed well in the past...

Some of these experienced racers ARE tricking components to keep these beasts together.
You can't blame them for wanting to keep that a secret. Since they developed the techniques, they are probably not wrong to want to keep that to themselves.
Then you would not need their services.

That's cool I can certainly understand them wanting to keep things a secret.
Soooooo how much boost is 'safe' for a 9:1 cr LS1??

I can't complain one bit----when I win the lotto, there will be all kinds of stuff happening here!

Ok so a few questions stem from this (and i've already emailed them).
1) How much is there dual in tank setup?
2) How much boost can Eagle SIR rods, 9:1 cr Wisecos, and ported heads take?
3) How much boost could an ARE treated motor take? I mean with their special secret? And how much would it cost to have it done?

ARE does this stuff and a quite a bit more.
I am generally familiar with some of the innovations they have made and Nick really has spent a lot of time and money to do this r&d.

ARE can machine the heads for a larger head stud to prevent the heads from lifting. They are doing this with my C5R block. The dual tank pump really depends on the specs I also have it. You can get it with an aluminum casing to replace the factory one that the single pump came in and you can get it with complete plug and play harness. For your application I recommend you call Nick directly. He has worked with me so much its ridicoulous and has to be the greatest person on the planet. Even though he is Canadian
Derek is right and it is not really a secret. We are doing all the above. We are installing new headstuds in the block(not as easy as some may think) and do the appropriot machineing to the heads as well as the special gaskets and other things that are needed. We will machine a block and head combo for anyone that wants to send there stuff up. We have done some testing as of late and are still learning a bit here and there, we want to be able to give our customers the latest tech. available on the Ls1's.
Remember one of the most important things, tunning!! too much of this and not enough of that and it doesn't matter what studs and gaskets you have.
