sorry if this might sound dumb? but will weight reduction like this still be streetable? im looking to strip my car as far as i can. but not sacrificing taking the car out for a joy ride.

when will the car be out?
with you and cam running i might order a new set of tires and try to get to the track before boat season starts to see if i can lay down a number with my car. prob is i have to get nhra chassie cert now and i can only get it on some days. ill have to call the track and see.
you guys are going to make me spend money on my car this year. last couple years all i did was put fuel in it. stupid tires are 500 bucks (i think. lol)

I know we are hoping to hit the track in 2 weeks just so much small BS stuff to get lined out. We still dont have the best suspension but we want to get some good base numbers down then add stuff to it.

Update on the car. We had a wierd knocking noise in the passenger head when we started tuning the car i exhasted all areas and decied it was a lifter not pumping up. We went ahead and pulled the head off and replaced the lifters on that side. And fired the car and all is good. I sold the SS hood and bought a Sunco pin on hood from Glasstek and installing that this week and taking it to the track next friday. I will keep you guys posted
