Digital or Analog N20 Gauge?
Analog:
or Digital:
I like the look of the analog gauge (and that I set the color to red to match my other gauges), but I am concerned about the functionality of it. The useful range of pressure for N20 is just a narrow part of the needle's range whereas with the digital gauge N2O pressure is obvious.

i have a digi gauges, digi tach and than a autometer 2 3/8 tach cuz when theres bright sunlight you wont see the shift light.
the track goto faces the sunset....
id only go analog for a situation like bright light, etc....
On a 15lb bottle, I can get down to 4lbs if nitrous and still be able to get pressure up to 900 with a heater...
6 lbs is where I start to see an actual drop off that the heaters can't keep up with very well...
On a cool day, my full 15lb bottle will read 750-800 until I heat it up...
Gauge type should be preference...
I use a digital gauge from holley because it directly interfaces with my holley dominator pcm....
Otherwise, I think I would have gone analog to match other gauges I had before the holley gauge swap I did for all my gauges.
Me personally i'm extremely partial to the Autometer Phantom II series of gauges.
My bottle sits in my passenger seat location(race car
) so it's easy to read for me as it points right at me.I am building a switch plate now and it will have provisions for a digital nitrous and digital fuel pressure gauge. Just easier to read I would think.
