Default Digital or Analog N20 Gauge?

Which do you think would be better if I was putting it in the center vent on my TA?

Analog:

or Digital:

I like the look of the analog gauge (and that I set the color to red to match my other gauges), but I am concerned about the functionality of it. The useful range of pressure for N20 is just a narrow part of the needle's range whereas with the digital gauge N2O pressure is obvious.

I've never ran nitrous yet - what kind of resolution do you want from a gauge? Is seeing the needle is between 900 and 1,000 enough? That seems about what you'd get from the analog gauge...

It's all about the hardware, is it a sender and wiring, or running a line. I perfer the sender and wiring.

Sorry - let me clarify. Both are electric gauges with a sender and wiring, just one displays in digital numbers and one displays with a needle on a dial. Install will be easy with either.

Nitrous pressure has very little to do with actual nitrous left in your bottle..
On a 15lb bottle, I can get down to 4lbs if nitrous and still be able to get pressure up to 900 with a heater...
6 lbs is where I start to see an actual drop off that the heaters can't keep up with very well...

On a cool day, my full 15lb bottle will read 750-800 until I heat it up...

Gauge type should be preference...
I use a digital gauge from holley because it directly interfaces with my holley dominator pcm....
Otherwise, I think I would have gone analog to match other gauges I had before the holley gauge swap I did for all my gauges.

I should have been a little more specific and i appologize...What i I meant was i would go digital with that manufacturers brand of gauge.

Me personally i'm extremely partial to the Autometer Phantom II series of gauges.

I have an analog gauge on the bottle.

My bottle sits in my passenger seat location(race car) so it's easy to read for me as it points right at me.

I am building a switch plate now and it will have provisions for a digital nitrous and digital fuel pressure gauge. Just easier to read I would think.
