new best stock internal spray
went to track for first time since 2010. washed the car, put new tires on it and topped off the old 93 in the tank with a little 110 and headed to the track.
ended up with a 9.34 @140+ with a 1.26 short time. went a 1.28 first pass out off trailer and went a 1.3 on a 9.37 pass
i was happy. that was friday night.
then ran saturday in the 9.50 class. left the car up the track. pulled a bunch of timming out of the car and went to a 150 shot from 200 to slow the car down. ended up on 2nd qual run as #1 with a 9.52 @ 139 then got bumped first round with a 9.48 brake out. doh.
felt good to get back out tho, had fun and got a sun burn yesterday.
heading out on boat now. yep

For washing the car and toping off the fuel im pretty happy. Im into the motor for about $300 total. Lol. I spent no time tuning and car and it's never seen a dyno or a pro tuner. Just me and my buddy tinkering with hp tuners.
If I realy took some time and ran the car and tuned the car and made the motor make the most of the most im sure she would go faster. Im sure if I had full 110 in the tank and I ran timming up a bit she would have gone a 20, but im happy for first trip with no time in the car besides washing it

I had nos on my old v8 Monza once. I'm just not a fan. I don't like having to refill the bottle....pta.

i think what he ment to say was he hates NAAWWWZZZZZ.
thanks
hiossilver, im just bustin *****.
i know a pile of people who dont like nitrous, most are scared of it, think it blows stuff up, think its hard to use ect ect. they are right esp if you dont know what your doing, but for the money its the best bang for the buck that anyone can do no question, and done right its pretty safe.
thanks

its a stock motor with like 60,000 miles on it out of a old camaro, its stock, i have stock untouched ls6 heads on it. no porting, nothing, and a set of 5 year old used free valve springs stock valves, custom cam and a dual roller timming chain. edlebrock (sp) old style carb intake home ported and an accufab t body, basic nx plate with nitro dave noids and purge and custom made feed lines. electric water pump. neal chance th400 and custom converter (converter was done for the old race motor and power glide so im sure im loosing a bit from that as my old motor made over 1000 hp. lol
3.73 gears, spool, 3350 race weight ( i put on a few pounds. lol)
thats about it. car is super basic and im into the motor for $300-$400 bucks at most plus fuel and oil. lol
motor has a pile of passes on it and about 1000 miles of street use since i put it in my car.
thats about it. the suspention is all done but its all old school stuff from when i did the car 5 or 6 years ago maybe longer. nothing fancy, basic qa1 single adjustable shocks, bmr tq arm and sub frames (the round ones people say wont hold any power they have been in the car since it was new in 99 and never touched them again. lol)
thats about it.
