Thanks man, I think it is making very good power on motor also.

If I went to a super victor I think it would pick up, but I'd want to change the cam to something more suited for a single plane and the amount of nitrous I am running now and not the N/A cam it currently has in it.

Right now it's 239/247 .624/.624 110+0 on LSL/LSL lobes.

I'd want something more like 239/254 .624"/.595" 113+5 LSL/Extreme RPM lobes or a Cheater HR exhaust lobe at .621" lift.

That isn't a bad start Martin, I'd run a little more duration on both sides of the cam.. You going to get yours out any more?

If it had forged rods and pistons in it and I could take advantage of turning it 7500rpm I'd probably throw a 243 intake lobe on it and a 258 exhaust lobe, but from the testing I have done and seen in the cams I have done up to now, the single planes don't need as late of an IVC event as a long runner stock style intake manifold does such as a Fast or LS6 intake.

Dyno testing has shown that for the same given IVC event switching from a Fast or stock style intake to a single plane yielded on average a 300-500rpm gain in peak torque and horsepower. My cam peaks at 6300 right now and carries all the way to 6900rpm before it starts to fall off and is within 10hp of peak at 7200rpm.

That said using the same IVC event as my Fast intake has would carry the power band a little too far for how high I'd want to spin the stock bottom end, especially with the added exhaust duration and wider LSA carrying torque further past peak torque than before with the tight LSA my current cam has. So I would need to pull the IVC event back to around 47 or 47.5 to have it peak at 6600-6700 and carry to 7200 like it does now with a 49.5 IVC event.

Of course this is just theory, but it's been pretty proven for me lately, and is what I modeled camscam new cam off of. He is still using his Fast 102 though which I make sure not to use too late of an IVC event so as not to waste torque that could of been made in it's useable rpm range that it's longer runners offer.

As far as my car goes, if I get it out this year I get it out this year, I'm just trying to have everything look the way I've always wanted it to look so it's taking a lot longer than was expected.

LOL it will go on the track patience!

When you've got a loaded dyno at your whim, it's nice to have the tune dialed in nearly 100% when you get to the track.

FML man....

Me&Jonathan have spent 4 hours testing circuits and wires to no avail.

Something in the relay board is screwy. I accidentally reamed off the brass output pole connection on the board. Soldered it back on, but I think I might of unsettled it from it's connection in the base of the board that I can't get to.

These boards are awesome, but if you need to troubleshoot a relay or the pole connections your screwed as you can't get into the thing.

I guess I have to buy another one as I wouldn't ask Randy to warranty my stupidity for not being more careful with the brass pole. Brass is soft and I was not....FML!!!

She's on the dyno!

Getting some heat in the plugs and sneaking up on the timing so far.

Dyno is loaded and motor numbers went from 420rwhp to 370rwhp just loading the dyno.

It's making about 510rwhp on two 52n jets, 40psi fuel pressure 23f jets. Putting a bigger jet in the second stage to clean up the fuel on top.

Well here's the final numbers:

Figured out why the numbers were so low, the second stage wasn't coming on!

Got the second stage to come on and it made 577rwhp/505rwtq on two 52n/23f jets at 40psi. This is a solid 200rwhp gain over the 377rwhp it made on motor with the 9 degrees of timing pulled out. 18.5-20 degrees total timing.

I decided to up the second stage jet to a 62n/23f and leave the 52n/23f in the first stage as the AFR was 11.7 on the 577rwhp run. This resulted in 612rwhp/526rwtq and a 12.4-12.2 AFR. I pulled one more degree out from the 9 I was pulling for 17.5-19.0 degrees total timing. This is nearly a solid 240rwhp gain!

The tune is still a little rich, but finally got some heat in the plug and started to see some good results. My bet is there is 25-30rwhp left in the current tune with some minor fuel adjustments.

Here is the graph:

My conclusion, NX has some good ****!
