Default How can I test that my new nitrous system is actually working?

Can I disconnect the hose from the nozzle and engage nitrous with the engine off? Then nitrous should shoot out of the hose right?

Just leave the bottle closed, turn the window switch down real low like 2k rpms and have someone listen for the click of the solenoid or put their hand on it. If you have an adjustable WOT switch you can do the same for that.
