I am looking for 125+ traps w/ an NX 150itty shot. The car ran 115 mph traps last year on motor, so I don't see 125 being to far off w/ a 150. Anybody ran similar mph w/ bolt ons and nitrous?

Sorry but I think you will be disapointed. you willbe lucky to hit 118mph with your plan you need some better exhaust to get the mph you are looking for. Headers like macs or flp and a less restrictive back half. I picked up 2mph just by using a slp y pipe over a stock flattened out like a pancake y pipe. Hope this will help you out. Rich

I think a gain of 10mph is typical with a 150 shot.

I am not sure what the car will trap this weekend. I trapped 115 in some good air, and it's suppose to be high 70's Friday so I am sure i'll be a couple of mph down. We'll see.

I agree about Commerce, it's got to be the worlds worst track or at least the slowest. I believe Joel is having his tranny rebuilt so he won't be there.

So you guys are going to SDR? what time does it all start? I am wanting to come and meet some of the members of GAFBA, I will have the car, but will not race (Picking up from paint shop on Friday) I heard something on the radio about some ford track weekend happening there this weekend?

my bud just got a set of macs with ORY and has a flowmaster on a otherwise stock 99 TA 6 spd. we are in warner robins, does anyone ahve a extra lid they might be interested in lettin go? we really need one. and plannin on sprayin a 125 shot just for fun and see how itll scoot. what should he expect from a 125 dry? he has stock gears,. no clue what they are, im guessin 3.23(?).

I own a 2001 Firebird Formula with 6M. Without a air filter installed, all-stock motor, 160-thermo, Pro-5.0 shifter (Stick cut 1.5-inches) and Eagle GS-C tires (came with car), I sprayed 100HP shot wet and turned a 12.876 @ 115.8mph. The chassis is also stock. I have LCA, Panhard, Torque Arm, SFC, rearend cover gridle, and two wheels and drag radials yet to install on the car. I am also going to step up the shot to 150HP. I am going to push for a low 11 to upper 10s. I am also hoping to hit over 125mph traps. Find out after Tuesday. I will be hopfully running at Indianapolis Raceway Park if weather permits.

No problem man , I trapped 118.9 yesterday with a burned up stock clutch and a 2.21 60 ft , this is with a 110 dry shot , My car only has a cutout and direct flo lid and fee mods .... I hope to be there with ya , once my clutch goes in and up the spray a bit !!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

damn, i'm at 115/116 with my tnt wet shot, but at an 11.54 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> got to love the automatic. i'm 106 on motor. all i had was vig3200, air lid, loudmouth, hpp3, and maft. i love NAAAWS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

My car has always mph'd very well, I was trapping 110+ w/ just a lid and catback. I am not really a track racer, so ET isn't my main concern. I set my car up to bust *** on the street, where MPH makes the difference <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> .

i have seen moose go from a 115 bolt on trap to a 126 trap with a nx 100 shot on a light 6 speed car.
