Fuel solenoid stuck?
The funny thing is I just had them "tested" by NX before putting them back on and haven't even had one real run with it. So basically, is it possible for the solenoid to "click", but be stuck closed? My experience now has been yes. How should I handle this? Thanks!
Did you test it with the car running?

I tested it with the car moving and when I found a problem, I tested it all in the garage with the motor off. I have a link to when I tested it earlier :

there is a small "gasket type" ""thing"" inside there, my n20 noid did this, so open it up and see if it moved and clogged the "outlet" side, i know what im talking about but its hard to explain, maybe somone eles can elaborate for me

I'll try to take a look at this.
When you disassemble the solenoid take off the jam nut to remove the cover and coil they sell a nut with 2 pins that will go in the holes it sould come with a rebuild kit with the plunger removed ther is a rubber seat (oring looking thing). when you use gas with 10% ethanol added a.k.a. cheap gas it causes the rubber seat to swell up and when the plunger opens the swollen seat stii won't allow fuel to pass through.Rebuild the noid and use good gas. good luck, Rich

Where do I get a rebuild kit? I haven't had a chance to take the solenoid apart yet, but I'll try to take some pictures when I do.

oh, thats 2 bad NX posts today, yours, and somebody who had a $14 cod for his heater back.

I was like, WTF, but never bothered to really get my $5 back.
Well, I shouldn't give the perception that it's NXs fault until I figure out what's really wrong. But I did take some time today and I figured out that I may be using a completely wrong size fitting. When I sent my solenoids back to NX to have them inspected, I stripped one of my brass fittings. Well, when I replaced that brass fitting, I didn't really pay close attention to every last detail. I looked real closely today and I noticed that there were some definate differences between my new fitting and old fitting. Apart from the obvious difference in the size of the hole, I think even the threading is different. I think I might be screwing my new fitting in so far to the solenoid that the hole is actually getting jammed against metal inside the solenoid and therefore plugged. Sounds crazy, but I think that may actually be happening. I'm going to try to find a new fitting tomorrow.

Here's a picture of them, my old one are on the left, new one is on the right. Can't really see but the threading is actually slightly different on the new one also.
Moral of the story is make sure you have the right fittings and test things thoroughly.

The did the same thing (charging $14 COD) to me, twice. One was for a bad bottle heater transducer which they had to replace. And the other was to check out my solenoids.
Each time, I specificly asked them whether it is going to cost me anything and the tech told me no. I don't mind paying if they're up front with me about it. Just don't say one thing and then do another.
