Default Stock fuel pump/injectors not holding up with 100 shot?

I have full bolt-on's and a 100 shot and I was wondering if I am needing a better pump and injectors? Seems like i shuld get a little better gains with the shot than I am. So does stock pump and injectors usually need upgraded withe the 100 shot? I'm going to be upgrading soon anyways because im uping too a 150 shot and adding a baby cam, but im curious to see if im running out of fuel now?

Im running stock pump and injectors on 175 wet shot, and have no problem. I couldnt tell much of a difference from stock to 100 shot. You may want to check your fuel pressure to see if your pump is supplying enough fuel when the nitrous is hitting. Im sure some experts will chime in and help ya out.

On a wet shot you really don't need injectors. That's why its a wet shot. Upgraded pump to me is a must now. I used to run decent shots on stock pumps and realize I had those cars on a ticking time bomb. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

When do you spray? Out the hole? 20 feet out? 50 feet out?

Its on a window switch i usually spray from a 50 roll. I think im just going to go ahead and upgrade it with injectors and fuel pumP so i can put the cam in and go up to a 150 shot. All of this and im sticking with my stock 4l60e LOL.

Even with a cam you won't need injectors, just the pump with a hotwire kit.

Spraying from a 50 roll isn't really going to give you a seat of the pants feel. Hitting it from out of the hole is where you are going to feel it. Hey that trans might last longer than you think. We ran 10.50's on our for awhile before it let go.

Id bet the tune is off. 150 should be no problem sometimes 150 and a cam is fine. in jectors only need to be changed after a cam and if your spraying dry.

Post your jets up..... your A/f, total timming etc

so you could be pulling 4 from 25 or 4 from 30. LOL Your tuner sounds awsome!

The jetting seems rich but its all a guess without any data.

He is a VERY good tuner actually. He knows what my original timing is it's not a guess he is the one who did the tune.... It's a mailorder tune. Is there a way i can hook up an a/f gauge on the car so I can see when its going rich?

Where did he put the timing then? I don't recommend doing this but i have had cars with 28* of timing in them and pulled 4* and ended up putting all 4 back in so no timing taken out at all on a 100 shot. I wouldn't recommend for you to do that but it is possible you are leaving alot on the table with your timing and your fueling.

Yes, there are plenty of wideband setups out there. Amazon has the LC-1 with the newer digital guage on sale for a pretty good price right now, about $30 cheaper than most other places.

If he is a good nitrous tuner he should know "pull 4" is a **** answer. pull 4 make a 1/8 hit pull a plug send me the log and pic and we will adjust from there is how I would tune it. But Im not a "good tuner"
