Well things didn't go totally the way I wanted it to. Come to find out on my first n2o pass the wot switch was not getting pressed..... So it wasn't even work last night, or I don't think anyways.

After getting it working we set it up as fallows.

1st pass
25 deg, 57N 53F, 6.0 psi at the jet, nano bottle on, 3800 launch, 7000 shift.
60' 1.347
330 3.811
1/8 5.890@116.42

2nd pass the same tune. No plugs pulled, forgot ratchet at trailer.
60' 1.388
330' 3.851
1/8 5.920@118.11
The AFR on these runs were 11.7- 11.9:1.

Last run I put a 58N and left the 53F, 25 deg timing, 6.0 psi.
My father said, lets run it out the back door one time lol.

60' 1.368
330' 3.792
1/8 5.855@118.37
1000' 7.666
1/4 9.243@141.00 mph.
AFR on this pass was 12.1-12.2:1 at wot.

It was 10:00 PM and we had to load up. I will post pics of the plugs and video's soon as I get them up loaded. I'm beat.

Later!

I know man, I'm not trippin. I didn't think you were being rude. Sometimes things can come across as being rude when yeah really don't mean any harm. I did it tonight to my father at the track. I felt bad afterwards....

I think that last pass as far as time slips and MPH goes looks like the car for sure liked the leaner AFR as you can see.

I'm glad you didn't take that from my post. I don't mean any negativity in my posts and sometimes when I go back and read them it sounds that way even to me. Good deal.

I would start to jet the nitrous up more and leave the fuel as is until you get the AFR in the 12.5 range. When you do jet up the nitrous pull another degree or two and see what it does. It should respond with more mph and better e.t.

My father did a terrible job getting video. Here is the best video from my gopro of a 1/8 mile pass.
The video of the 9.24 run got cut of at the starting line for some reason.

Of course he'd be able to do SOO much better!

I bet he is going to **** when the 435 C5R headed motor goes in my "race car"!

I have no idea what your car is or whatyour talking about...

Alright ladies!

Now that I printed off the spark plug chart so I could get all the plug part #'s and order three sets of br8efs and br9efs. Should I get 10's while I'm at it?

I'm leaving things were they are and I will pick up were I left off the other night. 25 deg, 57N/53F and I will put a brand new set of 8's in and kill it at the stripe and coast off. I will pull every plug and replace with another new set. This gets expensive.

I also considered tuning it on a dyno. I have access to one at about $75/hour. But I like to see the track time improvements.

We are going to the track tomorrow. I picked up three sets of br8fs and three sets of br9fs. I will get better plug readings with new sets in almost every run.
I am also going to try to get better video this time. I have a few friends going that have HD video and better people filming.

Yes,
1st pass.
58N/53F 25 degree, 6.0 fuel psi, I forgot to turn the nano on. it went 11.1:1 at the end.
It went 1.33 60', 5.89@116.81, 9.32@139.11

I let a nitrous guy look at the full set and he said they looked good. I saved one to cut open.

2nd pass, added 1 degree (26 total), everything else the same. This time nano one. AFR was around 12.2:1
1.32 60', 5.83@117.84, 9.22@140.83

I got one last pass with the same tune.
It went 9.26@140.88 on a 1.33 60'.

I have a plug from each run to cut open. I will get pics soon.

I will post pics and vids Sunday. I have to leave town for a few days.

The track was hot and it spun just a hair. I need to figure out how to get it in the 1.27-1.28 60' and it will be in the 9.0 range. But I'm ready to turn it up.

Next outing I am going to run a 62N/57F and 24 or 25 total timing.

I need new front shocks. One of them has been leaking around the ****. They are strange coil overs, single adj. I plan on upgrading them to afco double adj possibly along with new strange brakes for the front in the winter. Right now I'm rolling on sn95 brakes (95 GT). They are small alum calipers. They have a little bit of drag to them, I don't like it.

I just got the video off the gopro from the other night. These things are the ****. I need to test diff mounting locations to see what gets good video.
In the second video the wideband looks like it is reading 11.9-12.0:1 at the stripe..

Start leaning it out.

Depending on what and where the heat is on the plug will determine if you need to remove timing when you lean it out.

Get it around 12.3-12.5 and you'll see a nice improvement in mph and e.t.

I have a few plugs to cut open and post pics. I took them to work but forgot to do it.

I think I will try a 62N/55F and back the timing off to 24deg. and see what that looks like.

Sounds like a good plan, it will pick up mph and e.t. if you can keep the front end down like you have been.

I fear that on a well prepped track that it will pull a crazy wheel stand. I don't want this to happen. I'm going to Beach Bend next month and I am worried it will be hooking like crazy.

If it goes up I'm not letting off lol.
