I am not happy with a 75 shot so far <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
I don't have my bottle pressure gauge hooked up yet so it might have been very low, I hope!
My Civic will still run circles around this thing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> It's time for the 150 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

13.1 is on the motor. I just put the kit on today, no new times. I was only using my butt dyno.

11.79 @ 113mph at 800psi (1.62 60ft)
11.54 @ 116mph at 1000+ps (1.58 60ft)
that's what, about 30HP? judging by mph? that's how much pressure can affect you. that wasone run right after the other.

What kind of kit are you using. I am running a tnt 75 shot and it pulls very strong. Check to see if you nozzle is tight and you have no leaks in the system. Are you getting adequate fuel pressure? Make sure you look into this first before jumping into a bigger shot.
love the quote about my civic runs cirlces against my ls1 ...lol <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I noticed your sig earlier today, and was like "DUDE, thats a fast civic"
bottle pressure makes a huge difference

Okay, I think I'm okay. I put in the .032 (100)
and heated the bottle to 1000 psi. It feels pretty darn good. It's not a huge kick in the pants like I expected but if you look at how fast it gains speed you realize just how much faster it is! It is the NOS 5177 kit. So I know it doesn't make torque like a wet kit and I know that NOS kits don't make the power to the wheels that they claim alot of times.
I guess I'm used to doubling my horsepower on the bottle in the Civic. I've ran as much as 150 through my direct port and it is night and day!
Thanks for all the replies guys

A cold bottle is worthless. Your bottle pressure should be around 1100 psi to feel a FULL hit of nitrous, at any shot. The NOS dry kits don't hit that hard, you'll need a wet kit for a hard kick in the ***..
I'll run your civic <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ..

Sounds like my ricer friend when I took him for a 100shot run. He thought it's supposed to be like Fast and furious where the tires melt in 3rd gear and slams you back.
If he didn't look over at the speedo and see I was doing 125mph in about 8 seconds he wouldn't of thought it was fast.

Josh, my Civic is crap on the street, it HAS to have slicks to do anything. But at the track it does okay, I'll race you for sure! I know I'll lose but it will be fun anyway!
69Muscle, I'm not sure if you are comparing me to that Fast and Furious crap or not, but I'll asure you my Civic doesn't resemble anything in that movie nor do I. I do own a Honda but I'm far from a ricer.
Later,
Jeff

Slap a 100 pill in your SS and come meet me sometime. That should be a good race. I raced a similar modded and similar running A4 a few weeks ago on a 75 shot and put 2 cars on him. 100 shot on your car and you should be right beside me.

How about Sunday at the shootout? Are you going?
Just remember my power is adjustable <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
If I lose, I'll take those stupid jets out and run as much as I can, until it blows up anyway <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> And then I'll run it into a tree <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

You guys are cracked out. A dry kit and wet kit make the same power(not comparing brands because TNT is the shizznitobam); it's just all about how you go about delivering your fuel. Bottle pressure is the key and screw the retards who have never ridden in what they call a "fast mustang", blah blah. Its going to be funny when they ride in another guys car and it feels like a volkswagon to them after riding in your car. Plus, to feel any extra force pulling you back, you need some traction. Your car is only limited to acceleration to the tires, spinning makes it feel slower.

I guess I was way off on my butt dyno! My track results from yesterday were way better than I expected. The weather was horrible, it was close to 90 degrees with 100% humidity. All motor runs were pathetic, 13.5 and 13.6's. On the bottle 12.5 and 12.6's. And I picked up 10 miles on hour! Now I just need my converter so I can launch harder! I am VERY pleased with my 100 shot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
