had the car out for the first time on the new setup this weekend. made 2 passes on 200 shot w 10lb bottle. real similar times, 3rd pass numbers fell off a bit unsure if it was because of other reasons or bottle. but 4th pass for sure the bottle was low, hard to get pressure up with the heater and et and mph were off. I will be buying more bottles soon so i can swap every few runs to a full bottle. my question is, how many passes should you make before swapping bottles on a 200 shot. 1/4 mile track. 10lb bottle. my guess is 2 runs, whats your guys opinions.

I could usually get four 1/4 mile passes on a 200 shot before I had to change bottles.

Partly depends on how consistent you need to be. 2-3 runs tho.

I use just under 2lbs per run on a 200 shot, and that's with a purge and blowing down a fairly long feed line each pass. I get 3 passes from a 10lb bottle before performance falls off.

The best way to figure up how much nitrous that you use in a run, is a little math formula.

You use .8 of a lb for every 100hp you spray for 10 seconds. so it depends on how fast you run as to how much you will use per run. Now of course that doesn't account for purging.

Now with that said you can normally use 6-7 lbs out of a 10lb bottle and still get good performance out of the system.

i get 3 full 10´s passes and on the 4th i get not full one
i loose .3-.4 in ET and 4-5mph trap speed
