Plug reading question

Plug reading question
I am really struggling to find a venue where I can pull the plugs and read them properly. The track where I could shut down and coast to the return road is hardly open and keeps getting rained out. The other track that is open every week has no facility to shut down - just too tight and only narrow return road. I am currently pulling 10 degrees from 25 base timing on a 200 shot with 78/36 jetting at 975 -1000 psi and 43 llbs in dedicated which is creating low 12 - high 11 a/f on wide-band. I feel the timing is very conservative (due to not reading plugs. ) My question is while I understand not shutting off at end of run corrupts fuel reading would timing/heat mark still be valid if driven to the pits? Appreciate advice from experienced guys!

i have sometimes been able to still see a definitive timing mark after driving to the pits but it's been a long time since i tried that, and you need to ask yourself if its really worth your motor to not do it properly, i understand that its difficult sometimes to get this done as i"ve ran into it before as well, is there a road out in "mexico" you can try a pull?

we will usually do a 3rd and 4th gear pull or at least 6+ seconds worth and that will usually show fuel pretty well, it's certainly not a perfect environment lol but it does get us close
