Nvm just scene you have forged pistons... I would say a 150-175 shot would be no problem with all the right stuff

You could spray a lot more then 150-175 as long as your tune is right and you don't get cheap parts. Your motor should take 200-250 and more if you want.

^^^ agreed as long as you start with a conservative tune you should be able to do 250 easily if you wanted.

I would however start with a lower shot and work up to where you want to be.

I wouldn't hit that car with 100shot unless you got some modifications to your fuel system. Your fuel system, if stock, is going to be at its upper end already.

Do you have stock pump or have you modified the fuel system any???

You can always run a stand alone. That's what I did instead of messing with the fuel lines and tank.

I agree with the stand alone fuel system for the nitrous. Are you looking to make a certain ET or just looking to go faster? The amount of nitrous you will want to spray all depends on that. But you can be assured that you will end up spraying more and more with time, it is addictive. Figured out your goals and then decide from there what kit you want, I personally will recommend a direct port kit. But if you are not looking to do that much, a single nozzle or plate kit could be your best bet. Figure out what you want and get in contact with one of the vendors on here and they will get you setup with a nice quality nitrous system.

Spray it! People spray 150-200 shots on stock motors all the time. My last LT1 Car had over 100 bottles threw the 150,000 miles stock bottom end.

I would go with a plate kit based on that. With the plate kit you have room to add more nitrous down the road if you want and they look much cleaner in my opinion. Your current fuel system should be able to cover the 150 shot. If you go much bigger tho I would look into getting a stand alone fuel cell for the nitrous.

That 150 will be pretty close for the fuel system. I was scraping the limit with walbro 255 and a 100 shot pulling off the fuel rails on mine and decided to do the stand alone to be on the safe side.

I have pulled a 200 shot off the stock fuel lines and rails with just a racetronics pump and hot wire.

Once I swap transmissions I will go 250 and I am sure it will handle it

Like suggested above you are at the limit of needing to upgrade the fuel system. The 255 fuel pump is good for about 450-500 on average. If you add a Hotwire to it it will support more. On average a racetronix system will support about 650 rear wheel hp.

I Can help you figure out what Nitrous system would best fit your needs and budget if you would like the help.
Dave
