Just an FYI mine is about the exact same. About 4100 on the brake, 4900 on motor, 5400 on the hit

That sounds really close to what I'm looking for Cam. I hope mine is very similar.

Holy frijole Martin! 6 tenths and 6 MPH from a stall converter swap? What the first nitrous stall converter no good?

That seems really loose compared to the converters I run. But I know there are many different ways to set up a converter.

It is a little loose 600-700 or so rpm drop on a 3 speed. It was specd for less power than we have now. It is getting sent for a redo after SCSN in Vegas. It needs to be tighter all around ecsp with the little 26x8.5

That's the downside to a nitrous set-up, they run like poop on motor!

First one was my fault really. I specified it to be way too loose and missed peak torque by 600rpm with the flash point.

Just hoping this one I have now flashes 5200 on all the jet I'm going to throw at it.

She got a little hot. Plugs and more octane it would of lived. My fault, I knew better

Got it apart the other night and she isnt hurt too bad at all. Getting new pistons aiming for 12-13:1 compression, heads are already getting fixed, new rings and bearings and a cam change to spin this baby to 7600-8000. Possibility of putting a 4.00 stroke crank in the motor since one is sitting around in the shop. Should be back together in 2 weeks. Got lucky with this one

Looking for 5.50's in Vegas! Watch out world.

I ate #5 on my stock longblock motor...Same style intake. Definitely distribution issue. Car will pick up with a carb style intake, recammed.

We are officially done with the stock cubic inch stuff, we would love to demolish all the records that we could of but with the heads up stuff we do we had to add as much power as we can.

New motor is a 12.5:1 383 still using the stock block. Same heads and intake but we are really looking for a new camshaft. Anybody out there want to try something and want to donate one to our program to show off please let me know. The motor is coming together and should be back by next week. We need the help, looking to run 5.40's 5.50's on 26x8.5.

Let me know and thanks everybody for the support!
