Switching Setups.....
Switching Setups..... Looking at getting back into the nitrous game again, car has a stock bottom iron 5.3/th400/FTI 3500 and was wondering what you guy's think about this setup and also if anybody is running this combo in a f-body!
Plans are:
Stock bottom 5.3
Ported 706's
LS9 gaskets
MS3 cam
Vic Jr.
Aarons elbow
90mm tb
150-200 shot
Also wondering if spraying a plate system @ the throttle body would be safe?
Or would it be best just getting the spray bar setup?

You should be good either way. We like spray bars for the fact that they are not generic spray patterns. We set each bar up custom for every intake. This way we can flow check the pattern to make sure the nitrous is hitting the runners correctly.
I'd do something like 230/238 .614"/.612" 112+4 since you plan on 150-200hp worth of nitrous some exhaust split is needed, but nothing crazy as that is not that much nitrous in the grand scheme of things and doesn't need a dedicated nitrous stick. If you were running it on motor alone I'd want to see it on a 110+2 or 111+3 LSA, but you're not and it needs a little wider LSA, but still nothing like a true dedicated nitrous profile would have.

Sent you a PM back, and for those that are curious we ended up with a 231/240 .617"/.588" 112+4 profile.
Again if it was on motor alone it would have a 109+2, 110+3 or 111+4 in it, but since it's going to be sprayed slightly I widened up the LSA to spread the initial torque spike that nitrous has out some to the higher rpm regions which will only serve to make more horsepower and help get the heat out the chamber quicker and more efficiently while on the bottle.
