Default Low compression motor and spray

I have a 408 that is 8.5 to 1 and built for boost. How will this motor perfom if I dont boost it and I hit it with say a 200 shot? Will the rods/piston be damaged because its built for boost rather than spray?

The motor will be able to handle that no problem, It wont cause any damage to your rods and pistons as long as they are good quality parts.
