Default what are the drawbacks to adding n20 to a FI setup

i was just wondering what the pros vs cons were when adding the pill to a supercharged setup.

i figure ill make between 800-900rwhp with the supercharger

and i wanna make 1000 but id like to go ahead and just do everything that can be done to the car. have a little of both.

so my deal is does the supercharged tune suffer due to the anticipation of n20.

i probably will never even hit the button honestly, my plan is to just have it there just in case **** gets deep.

Depending on how the set up is tuned is if you are going to loose a little power on the tune. If you only have one tune then if you are looking to hit some nitrous you are going to have to back off a little timing from the tune to anticipate if you ever use the nitrous.

If you have a way to have 2 tunes you can have the timing pulled for nitrous and pull power in a sc tune.

the pro is that you will make some great power.

that answers my question. this car has almost everything being done to it and leaving n20 out seemed strange.

however

99% of the time, it will be driven on blower only. the n20 was only going to be for (when **** gets deep) however without wanting to pay for multiple tunes, I think if the tune would affect the overall 99% of drivetime, only to anticipate a 1% occasion, then its totally not worth it.

thanks guys. hope that made sense.

I wouldn't bother with N2O on an FI engine for all the reasons mentioned above. Just turn up the boost.

Then get a bigger blower.... or go twins.
