Default Nitrous Experts Please Help

Going to the Track tonight On a 100 shot (93 octane) and need to know if I pull 4 * of timing out of my N/A tune will it be enough. The thing that has me worried is the even that I have 0 knock without the bottle some of my NA tune cells are 5* higher then a stock LS2's tune. Let me know if I pull 4 degrees from this tune will it be enough. Timing cells are from 3000 rpm to 6200 rpm 1.00 Airmass to 1.36 g/cy

I ran a 100 shot without any timing pulled for a while. 4* should be fine but if your worried why not pull 6* and check plugs to be safe?

Most LS1's I build and tune run 28-30 base timing, and pull timing based on tune up. Whiteltone's car runs 28 base, and 19* total timing on a 250 shot... And we can probably run 1-2* more..
Why does it dip timing and then go back up?

Not sure why it dips then goes up, it was an unlocked canned tune I purchased prior to getting my HP Tuner and was based on a more aggressive Spark profile for 94 octane gas. Besided it is relative to a stock LS2 tune just higher in some cells then the stock one

If your timing table looks like that - you've got some more left in it on the motor.

I would take that dip out on HP and make a hit first, then go from there.. I would personally set it at 25*(or more) across the board and see how it likes it..
Then pull 4* for spray, but ideally you want the timing to come out when the nitrous turns on. That way the car idles, does a burnout, and stages normally..

Have an HSW Interface so it will pull 4* of timing as soon as the window switch is within range

Perfect, I would lock the timing at 25 and make a HP hit and make sure all is well. Then open the bottle on the next pass, and enjoy!
