Default 1999 205k mile ls1+75shot bad idea??

Just recently picked up a high mileage ls1.
Car runs great and still holds great oil pressure.
Dosent make any noise.
How safe would a 75 shot be?
It wouldn't be all the time. Maybe 2-3 times a month
Plan on going with ngk plugs, mad wires.
75 shot is as high as I'm willing to go since the car is bone stock.
Thoughts? Tips?
Thanks!

I have a buddy who hits his with a 100 shot untuned, and has been doing so for quite some time now. He has a few bolt ons, higher miles, and NGK plus as well. I don't see a problem with it

It all depends on how good the motor is running. Im sure that it will be fine but i would go threw the motor with a fine tooth comb. Make sure that you are making sure that the motor is running good. It might take it fine, but it might help find a weak link in car.

The car has 230k miles.
I thought it had less.
But I bought it
Gonna need head gaskets soon so I'm gonna lay off the spray till I do that.
Holds 50 psi of oil pressure at a hot 1500rpm cruise.

**** on that why change the head gaskets if they are fine, just spray it and watch your gauges these motors can take some abuse just spray it right.

I rather spray a ls1 with 250k in good condition than a motor with 80k with low oil pressure and excessive leak down. We sprayed a pull out ls1 with 196k on it. Installed a cam and ended up with a 225 shot. It never broke on us. We did run a stand alone fuel cell and a good tune. So if the motor is in fine shape spray that bitch.

Throw a 150 wet kit on it and let it rip.

If everything checks out ok you should be able to hit 75-100hp without a hiccup. We have a ton of customers spraying on 150,000+ setups.

I've been running 100 shot on my motor for over a year and a half almost every weekend. 149xxx miles and still counting! When my nitrous outlet plate kit gets here tomorrow, I will be running 100 on it and 100 on my nx kit on two stages. Just make sure you do it right and the motor is in good shape. Read your plugs and a wideband is not a bad investment.
