Update 12-21-12
It's been a while since I have posted anything on here, so I figured after a long year of not being able to get to the track, from making some repairs due to a broken valve spring, and just little things tripping me up all year I have finally gotten back to the track, so I figured I'd share.
The first outing I didn't fare so well, but still went a 10.33 @132. but the car was lazy in the 60ft. The converter change and the rear gear I had just didn't like each other at all with my setup. (my previous best was a 10.22 @ 132 w 1.41 60ft)
Since the car felt lazy on that pass and in general, and the shift extension was ridiculous, I decided to switch to a 3.73. This immediately made a nice difference. Eager to see the results, I headed back to the track this past Friday. Unfortunately due to the long drive up there, and a few other racer's unfortunately luck of catastrophic failure leaving the track swimming in oil most of the night, I was only able to get one pass in.
While it wasn't a NPB, I did get a NPB in the 60ft. (1.39), and ended up with a 10.26@131.86. Considering the odd things that went on this night (maybe it was the Mayan's lol) I feel like I am back going in the right direction.
Big thanks to Carter01 for all the help, and everyone else that has been posting up results lately, definitely shows me that my goal of making a 9 sec pass is close!

Man that thing is moving out. What jet are you spraying? That converter and gear should work good together up to a .078 jet. Ours is blowing through the converter some on a .088 jet with the SS3600.
thanks!
.067 jet- old hsw plate, but I have a fast and 243s, the converter was a SS3600 that I sent to Lane @ PTC, he changed the stator in it and moved it up a little higher in the powerband.

I think that plate will flow 200 worth. Put some jet in that thing and you got your 9 sec slip! Then heads and Fast should put you in the 9.60-70. We are sending our converter to PTC very soon to let them work their magic on it. With Andy helping you it won't be long before you get there. He has been a big help to us with his advice on the nitrous tuneup.

PTC was great to work with, I'm sure you will be happy with those changes.

Congratulations buddy. Not too sure if I will make the rental in February but would like to see it go again in person. Love the NBM color. After I get mine running I need to have Greg from anti venom tune it.
I saw you got another shortblock, the rental is feb 10th brotha - you can make it. Be good to see you back out

You can get it there no problem, if you need a hand let me know. I wouldn't worry about the 4:11 just yet, it's probably not optimum but not holding you back from going 10.50, you can address that after you get it back up and running.
