6.0 LY6 block/nitrous limitations??
Gonna be running an LY6 with LS3 heads, coated pistons, rings gapped for nitrous, all arp bolts and head studs, new cam & matching springs, LS7 lifters, stock rods & crank, carb with Vic Jr. Trying to find out what the stock blocks are capable of handling thru a fogger before having cylinder wall problems. Looking to start out around 250 and try to max out around 300. No problems with tuning...gonna be running a maximizer, probably 7531, etc..
Thanks.
Thanks.

I know the blocks will hold 250 without any problem. I wouldn't be trying to max out around 300 if the rotating assembly wasn't stock except for the bolts/head studs as mentioned above and the pistons being coated. The motor is already built and waiting on the powerglide to be built before setting up the motor and mid plates for welding. I'm just trying to find out what's the most people have been able to spray on a stock bottom end before beginning to see any issues with the 6.0 LY6 (whether it be cylinders, rods, etc) Thanks.

Thank you for the response. Mine is still standard bore as I got the motor with maybe 10K miles on it before it was gone thru. If the stock bottom end will take more than 300 then it will get more than 300, but want to know the limitations from those that have had bigger shots thrown at it. Thanks again...
